Thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our colleague Jirka Zemánek and the support of Jan Kužník, we were able to welcome this demonstration of free will at the Maker Faire booth – a Xiaomi robotic vacuum cleaner that makes completely free decisions thanks to the integration of a quantum random number generator (QRNG) from CryptaLabs. This machine would definitely not “pass as alive” according to majority of definitions yet as our BeingOne, but it already has a free will. Do you feel it?
